What We Did Today
Today your trees and shrubs received a root zone feeding with fertilizers. This application will provide needed nutrients to your landscape as the trees and shrubs emerge from winter dormancy. This treatment will help boost your plant’s vigor and help them withstand the stresses of summer weather and insect and disease activity. This treatment also contained a systemic insecticide designed to help protect your plants from certain insect pest problems.
What You Can Expect From This Application
There may be no immediately visible results from this application. However, this application may help improve blooming in plants that bloom in the late spring and in the summer.
Caring For Your Landscape
Good cultural practices are critical to the health and vigor of your landscape. Along with fertilizing your plants, mulching, pruning and watering are essential elements to maintaining healthy and vigorous trees and shrubs.
Here are a few rules to remember when maintaining your landscape:
- Don’t wait until leaves wither to water your plants. *Be careful not to over water as some plants are prone to root rot.
- Do mulch your landscape to improve its beauty and protect the trees and shrubs.
- Don’t prune your plants when they are under stress from heat, disease, or insects. *Your technician can advise you on the best time to prune.

Your next regularly scheduled treatment will include insect and disease controls to help protect your landscape investment.
Between Visits
Whenever you have concerns or suspect a problem between visits, please do not hesitate to call us. All full program customers (5 or 6 lawn or tree/shrub treatments per year) are entitled to one free service call up to 14 days after an application is made.
