  6. PUCKETT’S

    It’s a Nashville staple that has been around for years. There are a few locations, but the original is in Leiper’s Fork. It’s a restaurant/ grocery store with live music, typically bluegrass. It’s a fun place and not expensive!

    A newer coffee shop that has taken Nashville by storm. They are one of the lightest roasting coffee shops in North America, which makes for a unique and wonderful coffee drinking experience.

    A one of a kind coffeehouse that offers creative seasonal drinks and locally roasted coffee. You can feel good about your purchases here because your coffee helps build wells in under served communities all over the world.

  9. JENI’S ICE CREAM

    A little bit pricey, but oh, so good! They are known for their really weird flavors. The Buckeye (peanut butter and chocolate) is delicious!

  10. MUSIC CITY INDOOR KARTING

    For the fastest fun in Nashville, check out their electric go-karts that will carry speeds up to 40 mph, on a 1/4 mile indoor racing track. This 77,000 sq ft facility also offers 18 holes of mini golf!

  11. EDWIN WARNER/PERCY WARNER PARK

    Two separate parks that connect via trails. You wouldn’t know if you went from one to the other, so it makes for a big park! Lots of trails (flat and hills). Really nice hiking! Flat trails are available too!

  12. RADNOR LAKE STATE PARK

    Beautiful park within the city that makes you feel 100 miles away from the city.

  13. BIKE THE GREENWAYS AND CITY

    There are 80 miles of off-street (primarily paved) multi-use greenway trails and various other types of trails within parks in Davidson County for walking, hiking, mountain biking and equestrian use. One of the best ways to see the city is rent a bike from B-Cycle and ride the greenways or city streets!

  14. DOWNTOWN FRANKLIN

    It’s been voted best “small town” in Tennessee, but unfortunately, it’s not so “small” anymore. Tons of cute boutiques and shops around. Local restaurants galore. It’s fun to park and walk around.

  15. BELLE MEADE PLANTATION

    Belle Meade Plantation is a historic mansion that is now operated as a museum, together with outbuildings on its 30 acres of property.

  16. ADVENTURE SCIENCE CENTER

    Multi level museum that teaches children about tech, health, and ecology with hands on exhibits and a planetarium.

  17. SEVIER PARK

    A cute, small park in 12 South with an amazing playground and ample space to play and roam.

  18. SHELBY BOTTOMS NATURE CENTER

    The nature center is the perfect place for kids to get outside and explore. The center features a “dirt playground” (be sure to bring a change of clothes). This area has dirt tunnels, waterways, mudpies – all for your kids’ imaginations to run wild. There is also a sand area to uncover fossils and a natural “hut” to explore as well. Bonus: It’s fenced in to help keep the little ones close!

  19. PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

    3,150 ft. pedestrian-only truss bridge over the Cumberland River that offers beautiful views of downtown.

    Once a private estate built in 1929, now an art museum and quaint, 55-acre botanical garden.
